Three people in Hazel, Kentucky were arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including felony trafficking charges of marijuana and trafficking charges of a hallucinogen.

After searching a residence, the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office found a grow/drying operation for psychedelic mushrooms, nine active grow boxes, 10 pounds of marijuana, two pounds of mushrooms, over 200 retail packaged marijuana products, 2.5 pounds of additional THC wax, a pistol, a modified sawed-off shotgun, and cash.

The estimated value of the drugs seized was $49,000. Three people were arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including felony trafficking charges of marijuana and trafficking charges of a hallucinogen.

The bust, which, by my calculations, kept at least 226 heroic doses of therapeutic mushrooms off the streets of a small town of 410 people and created a vacuum for booze, opiates, and fentanyl to further ravage the Bible Belt. Plus they got what looks like a Mad Max shotgun made of tape and Play-Doh off the streets. Good work all around.
