Despite this progress, police in Toronto, San Francisco, and Portland have recently raided and shut down stores selling psychedelic mushrooms.
This is due to the fact that while it may be legal to possess psychedelic substances in some of the most progressive cities, it is not yet legal to sell them.
Investors have poured millions of dollars into the emerging psychedelics industry, and lawmakers from both sides of the aisle have called on Congress to reform our psychedelics laws.
